Shimano OCEA Head Dip Flash Boost 140F (140mm 70g 001 Maiwashi)
Specialized for targeting tuna in Sagami Bay! New colors are now available for the FLASHBOOST equipped HEAD DIP 140F!
The lure's flying distance allows anglers to take advantage of the first half of the season when targeting yellowfin tuna in Sagami Bay. The low buoyancy design keeps the entire lure immersed in the water as much as possible, even in the thick boil that are common in the high season, and the FLASH BOOST keeps the lure shining for uninterrupted appeal during stays. Furthermore, the hook setting is one size larger than the original to allow anglers to safely handle the big tuna that appear later in the season. We have developed this lure by incorporating all of these elements necessary for targeting tuna.
FLASH BOOST
Mirror plate continues to reflect. Unique structure FLASHBOOST mechanism with a spring-loaded reflective plate suspended inside the body. It uses rod action and other vibrations, and further vibrates the lure with the spring to keep attracting the lure with small, sparkling flashings even during drifts when the lure is not moving.
JET BOOST
JETBOOST is a center-of-gravity shifting mechanism that enables both stable long casts and rapid swimming by supporting the center-of-gravity shifting weight with a through-shaft and spring. The JETBOOST system has been thoroughly tested for three key elements: initial casting speed, stable flight posture, and rapid swimming. It realizes a long casting lure that can be fished regardless of the user's skill level.
FLASHBOOST Mechanism Spring provides vibration amplification to keep luring the fish while staying
A spring-loaded mirror-finished reflector is suspended inside the body to create a FLASHBOOST mechanism. The spring amplifies the vibration of the lure during the diving action and when the lure lands on the water, and the vibration continues to attract the lure with a quick "sparkling" flashing action even during stays and between jerks when the lure is not moving.
Not only for boil shooting, but also for luring them out!
A slightly slower jerk or longer pause is recommended to lure the fish. Please operate the lure with an approach that makes it appear firm and ensures that the fish will bite.
